I am a licensed clinical social worker specializing in health and wellness. My approach with my clients is to empower and build resiliency and strength through the use therapeutic and strengths-based approaches. I use a variety of theories in my therapeutic approach, often using Cognitive Behavioral Theory, Solution-Focused, and Strengths-Based approaches.
I have experience working with all ages, but the typical client I work with is one who is dealing with a chronic or terminal medical condition, a family member or loved one who is navigating a chronic or terminal illness a loved one, women who are seeking wellness and health goals and women or men experiencing or have experienced domestic violence.
I am a good listener and direct communicator. I strive to make my space feel safe and comfortable for all my clients to talk and share in. Promoting transparency and honesty in all my sessions knowing there is no judgment, just a place to share and discuss.
