My name is Michelle Juhasz. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, licensed in the states of California and New Jersey. I use a client-centered, strengths-based approach to my therapy practice, focusing on improving one's mindset and thought processes to gain a better sense of self and increase positive functioning. I work with adults ages 18+ from a variety of cultural identities, backgrounds and orientations. I treat those suffering from mood and anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, individuals impacted by trauma, stress and life adjustments.
I utilize an eclectic approach when working with my clients with the intention to utilize an intervention that works best for each individual client. These approaches include Cognitive Behavioral intervention, psychodynamic interventions, holistic approaches and mindfulness-based tools and exercises.
I work together with my client to develop goals that are achievable and realistic. I believe that the therapeutic journey is one in which the client and the therapist can work as a team to identify and review areas of desired growth, understanding and healing.
