Choosing the right therapist to hear your story and support your healing process is a very personal and important decision. I provide therapy that is affirming, holistic, and collaborative, and I create an environment where honest self-exploration and healing can occur. Individuals see me for a range of concerns including anxiety and mood disorders, trauma, grief and loss, and gender and sexuality concerns.
I am down-to-earth and work to create a warm, nonjudgmental therapeutic space for my clients. I understand that some folks thrive with creativity and humor while others need a quiet and calm space of refuge. I primarily utilize Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, mindfulness, and expressive arts/play therapies, depending on my client's unique needs.
Seeking counseling for your child or yourself is a courageous step – bravo! Finding the right fit in a therapist is the next step. Please contact me via email or phone to discuss your personal counseling goals. “Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.” – Audre Lorde.
