I'm a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor who has been in the mental health field for 25 years. For most of my career I've focused on working with children, adolescents and families offering them support and guidance, and I also enjoy working with adults. My approach is to meet clients where they're at and work together on reaching the goals that are identified.
During my career, I've worked in a variety of settings which I believe has allowed me to have a wide range of knowledge. I've seen clients at some of their lowest points as well as some of their best. I currently specialize in working with foster care, Maternal Mental Health, DBT and more recently EMDR; trauma work is a big part of my focus in my practice.
I try to find that 'moment' that has been significant in our lives and has led us down the road that we are on. My hope is to determine some additional moments that will give us a new look on life. I feel privileged to be allowed into peoples lives and hear about their experiences.
