Life is messy. Therapy helps. In the middle of the mess it can be hard to find a way through it, so I work collaboratively with you to identify a path. Together we take a good look at thoughts, feelings, physical sensations and behaviors to see if we can find patterns, then create an action plan to reduce your distress. I am trained in multiple scientifically backed modalities including EMDR and CPT. Everyone is unique with their own set of circumstances that are considered as we walk this journey together. In a world where everyone is talking, sometimes it's nice to have someone really listen.
My twelve years of clinical experience provide a solid foundation we can use as a springboard as we walk through this journey toward wholeness. Having a good connection with your therapist is crucial to your success so if you decide we aren't a good fit I'll support you in the search for someone you click with. Your healing is what matters most.
I've learned to accept others and myself just as we are, and to find a bit of beauty in each day. I've also learned patience, pause, how to prioritize, and how to love and be loved unconditionally.
