Michelle Horn, LMFT 136019. Improving relationships and managing stressors in daily life settings is important. My practice focuses on supporting improved coping skills and strategies to achieve positive outcomes. My practice is trauma-informed and focuses on increasing coping strategies to reduce symptoms and increase quality of life. I believe that balance and connectivity lead to overall emotional and mental health. In my practice, it is important to me that I support you and/or your loved one's to achieve this.
I work with individuals, couples, and families. Working with clients and/or their loved ones experiencing trauma-related issues and/or grief and loss are some of the areas my practice typically addresses. I am also comfortable working with addiction, anxiety, depression, sexual trauma, and/or forensic clients.
My practice approaches goal setting with clients as a collaborative experience designed to encourage clients to develop along their personal journey as they see fit. As a clinician, I view my purpose to be a guide and encourage reframing and/or shifting the experience/thoughts as needed to create healthy outcomes in their lives.
