I am passionate about helping adolescents, adults, couples, and families identify how past experiences impact current perceptions of self, relationships, and safety in the world. I work with meeting clients where they are at and support them in this journey. I utilize psychoeducation and mindfulness techniques to help clients gain awareness of the mind-body connection. I have been trained in models including; Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Flash Technique for working through trauma, Restoration Therapy, and I have completed Levels 1 and 2 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
I have worked in residential and outpatient settings with adolescents, adults, couples, and families helping those dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and other relational issues. In residential settings, I specifically worked with adolescents to develop healthy sexual attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors.
I help clients gain awareness of the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors to support positive change. This change begins with establishing a trusting therapeutic relationship and walking the therapy journey together.
