Do you ever get the sense that your symptoms run deeper than surface level? Many people seek out therapy to resolve issues such as stress, difficulties in relationships, and anxiety and depression only to find out that these issues have a deeper root. There is a pathway to healing! In addition to helping clients manage the ups and downs of life, I specialize in trauma and attachment across the lifespan. I use modalities such as play therapy, EMDR, DBT, CBT, mindfulness, and trauma informed yoga to help children, adolescents, and adults heal from the past and develop healthier patterns in the present day.
I am trained in Theraplay, which is an evidenced-based family therapy model. Theraplay supports parents and children in developing positive connection and healthy interactions. I have experience using Theraplay with children who have difficulty connecting with their parents due to behavioral issues, trauma, and other mental health concerns including ASD.
