I enjoy working with adults 18+ and women’s issues. Other interests include healing from childhood wounds and developmental trauma, spiritual growth and development, healthy boundaries, anxiety, depression, stress management, somatic therapy and chronic pain/sensations in the body, and interpersonal neurobiology, a framework for exploring the interaction b/w the mind, the brain and relationships on well-being.
My counseling draws from several perspectives including Internal Family Systems, Cognitive behavioral and Psychodynamic (renewing the mind in truth and healing as a journey). I believe in a comprehensive approach to assessment and counseling where truth and insight are discovered and healing can be found within the context of a safe and caring relationship.
