Hello. My name is Michelle Friedland and I am happy to introduce myself. I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) licensed psychotherapist with experience providing counseling and supportive services. I utilize a variety of skills and tools to assist tweens, teens, and adults move beyond obstacles so they can grow and thrive. I use a wide range of clinical skills to effectively explore and help clients navigate challenges. If you are experiencing stress, depression, worry, relationship issues, or are going through life transitions; I can help! My focus is to assist my clients with achieving goals and improving their quality of life.
I work with my clients to create a safe and collaborative environment where I take time to earn trust allowing my clients to feel listened to and supported. My approach is client centered with a focus on helping the individual overcome barriers, set effective boundaries, learn useful skills, and implement healthy changes to move towards achieving their goals
Change is a difficult but often necessary part of life. Making proactive changes can be especially challenging and support through that process is vital. Working together, we can start to make meaningful changes, beginning the journey towards recovery and a stronger sense of self-efficacy.
