About

My specialty is the treatment of adults and adolescents with emotional dysregulation, self-harming behaviors and difficulty with impulsive behaviors. I do this by offering the full Dialectical Behavior Intervention which has been shown to be the only level 1 intervention for self-injurious thoughts and behaviors in Adolescents. Often times, I see clients who have had years of therapy with no symptom relief. They often express frustration they didn't find DBT sooner. I also treat trauma using both DBT and Brainspotting. I also treat Depressive Disorders and a wide variety of Anxiety Disorders.
I love teaching skills to help people manage their life in a healthier way and get the results from their life that they want, reduce emotional suffering and build a life worth living. I am certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy which teaches skills to help manage emotions and relationships. I am a Certified Trauma Professional.
I believe therapy is where we work together to help you build the life you want and overcome the difficulties you face. I absolutely love being able to walk with someone on their journey to mental health and see people move away from a life of pain and chaos into a life that is joyous and peaceful. We, as Dr. Linehan says, "Build a life worth living."
