Are you struggling to manage the challenges that life throws at you and/or the emotions that you experience? I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience providing individual, family and group therapy. My approach to therapy is person centered, strength based and solution focused. Learning new ways to cope with and regulate emotions, shift negative thought patterns and/or communicate effectively will result in improved mood, physical health and overall well being.
Over the last 20 years, I have been trained in and have provided Functional Family Therapy, Dynamic Deconstructive Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to my clients. My experience also includes teaching communication skills, anger management skills, and skills necessary to improve relationships.
Reaching out for help and opening up to a stranger can be extremely difficult and may provoke some feelings of anxiety. The therapy process is guided by the development of a therapeutic relationship and the ability to build trust.
