I utilize evidence-based modalities including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy to empower those I work with to create positive change in their lives. I employ a person-centered approach and believe that the therapeutic alliance is the single most important aspect of the the therapy process. We will spend the first few sessions getting to know one another and building trust and rapport. We will work together to identify your goals for therapy and outline clear and understandable steps to meet those goals.
I have years of experience working with adults in various levels of care including detox and residential treatment, community mental health and outpatient settings. I specialize in addiction and substance use disorders as well as anxiety, depression and life transitions.
I provide an empathetic and non-judgmental space to you to process the things you want to work on and build on your inherent strengths. I will work collaboratively with you to develop coping skills, build resilience and overcome barriers to help you live a more fulfilled life.
