Grieving Mindfully Through the Holidays
Once a time of joy and celebration, the holidays may now acutely remind you of the death of a loved one. This grief group provides a safe place to share your grief and allows you to connect with others who have experienced the same. It will teach mindfulness practices that will support your grieving process, help you discover the emotional resilience to help you move through this challenging time, and uses creative experiential activities to express your grief. Pre-registration required. (Recommendation is for participants to have experienced their loss at least 3 months ago.)

A Year to Live Book Study and Experiential Group
Using Stephen Levine’s “A Year to Live” as our guide, we will explore what it means to live each day with compassion and in a mindful, heart-centered way. His book chronicles a year-long experiment preparing for his death. By embracing the same mindset, we'll confront the limits of our time here. There will be opportunities to engage in mindfulness practices and creative experiential activities designed to raise awareness, express feeling and gain insight to re-examine our life priorities. We will use these experiences to consider how to “enter into a new, vibrant relationship with life.”

“Come Together”- Anticipatory Grief Group
As a loved one or a caregiver of someone who has a life-threatening illness, it's possible that you are feeling anticipatory grief and/or stress that comes from facing this news. Typical emotions experienced at this time can include sorrow, guilt, anxiety, and anger, as well as a heightened awareness of the loss of future dreams, independence, and security. I invite you to "come together" with others who share your experience.
