Since I began practicing 23years ago, I've gathered extensive experience working with adults and adolescents (14-19 yrs old) using a strengths-based approach in addition to assessing and increasing communication skills for all areas of life to ensure you get the most out of every session. Always first and foremost, my goal as a therapist is to be genuine, approachable, and nonjudgmental as I help guide you through the therapeutic process to become your own best resource.
My specialty areas are anxiety, trauma recovery, depression, adolescents /adults of divorced parents, grief and loss, codependency, adolescents/adults of alcoholic/addicted parent(s), ADHD management, body image, relationship issues, self-esteem, as well as blended-family issues. My goal is to give you usable tools beginning the first session.
I appreciate busy lives so I do hold some flexible hours one evening a week. Believing in a holistic approach, I try my best to help clients get the best care possible, encouraging and cultivating self-advocacy.
