About
Anxiety is a normal human emotion that we all experience from time to time - especially with recent events. But sometimes, anxiety can get so big that it keeps you from living the life you want. If anxiety keeps you from trying new things, feeling connected to others, or living a life that you're excited about, you probably feel like you've tried everything. It can be really frustrating to hear, "you should do more self-care" or "have you tried deep breathing?". Many people aren't aware that stubborn, persistent anxiety - or anxiety disorders - require a specific type of treatment that's been shown through research to be effective.
I'm a clinical psychologist specializing in the research and treatment of anxiety disorders and related problems. I'm passionate about providing treatment that works. I use evidence-based techniques to help you reduce your anxiety and - more importantly - keep it from getting in the way of the things that matter most to you.
I know that reaching out can be difficult, so I aim to make my first contact with you as seamless and pleasant as possible. I'd love to hear from you to decide together whether my services might be a good fit for you. Note: I am open to seeing California-residing clients outside of my area via telehealth.
