Sometimes circumstances in life can feel unbearable and we do not know how we are going to get through it. Experiencing trauma, a pandemic, racism, loss, pressures of work, school, relationships, and family issues can make us feel overwhelmed leading to all sorts of undesirable reactions and behaviors. Our need for inner peace and healthy coping is crucial for our mental, spiritual, and physical health. Practicing healthy ways of dealing with our emotions can help us feel calm and safe which our nervous system needs. We then, can respond to life in a healthier way.
For 25 years I've enjoyed helping people have a better understanding about why they feel the way they do. I will work with you on overcoming the dysfunctional beliefs you might have about yourself or life circumstances. I will meet you where you are at but will also coach and encourage you to take steps towards your goals for personal growth and self-love.
There is no right or wrong way to feel about what we have experienced because it is just that, our own experience! It's important to acknowledge this and be gentle with ourselves.
