It's not easy reaching out for professional help with relationship, family or emotional problems, but I hope you choose to take this important first step toward changing your life for the better. In my 30 years of practice, I have never felt a greater sense of hope and optimism about what talk therapy can realistically offer to reduce suffering and improve our personal and family lives. I can present you with a "user friendly" path into treatment that will ease your very understandable anxiety and skepticism. My goals for you as a client are learning, growth, empowerment and customer satisfaction.
I work with adults, couples, and adolescents, using a flexible mix of individual and family therapies. All are well-established "best practices." Our knowledge of the mind-body interactions leads us to a holistic approach to living. Mindfulness meditation, yoga, stress reduction support and enhance our mental and physical well being.
Please show up as exactly the person you are at this moment. Both research and common sense affirm that a partnership within a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship leads to the best outcomes. The practice is accessible: with convenient evening appointments available; broad-insurance participation; and attractive, centrally located office space.
