Overwhelmed by grief, anxiety, or trauma, and want to learn how to walk through everyday life without the feeling of being weighed down? Whether you/the client is a child struggling to express big emotions; a teen navigating identity or friendships; an adult seeking peace and clarity; or an elder experiencing the loss of a spouse, I can help! I believe the client is the expert on his/her life, so I utilize client centered therapy where the client is able to take an active and directive role in his/her healing. The client can talk freely and feel heard, validated, and valued.
I offer a safe, welcoming space where clients can begin their healing journey. I specialize in helping clients by using hands-on, experiential techniques such as Sandtray, play and psychodrama. My approach is gentle, yet firm. I also like to bring humor into the therapy room because laughter is good for the soul and helps to bring healing to one’s heart.
It takes courage to ask for help and to share your story. I'm here to listen without judgment and to walk alongside you whether you're navigating a loss, feeling anxious, or simply need a place to process life's challenges.
