My ideal client is focused on personal growth and healing. Many clients see the process of therapy as a one sided conversation with little opportunity to see others as real people. I am solution oriented while believing that therapy can be a challenging, changing, enjoyable process where clients can experience themselves in new ways. Therapy does not have to be painful. I specialize in treating addictive behaviors. I worked at The Grief Recovery Center prior to its closing so I have a special interest in working with grief. I have completed EMDR basic training. If talk therapy alone has not been effective, try EMDR. I come in with no expectations or agendas into my office. I allow my client to be the leader or the expert.
