I'm so tired of feeling I'm constantly looking to feel safe! When can I just live my life? You may wonder why others seem happy and you feel so much or nothing. You may not believe you're worthy of love, and it’s confusing when others compliment you. You're angry your childhood memories are missing, because you were the adult to survive as a kid; this never felt like a choice. Today, you may smoke, drink, or cut/burn you to feel something or to help you take the edge off of daily life or stressful events. You're tired of being disconnected from you or pretending to be someone else. You want to feel good things and be YOU!
I use Sensorimotor Therapy (Feel free to look it up), where we learn about your nervous system, and update and manage it for you to feel safe in your own skin! We practice various ways to help your brain connect to your body, for you to feel and be present in your body and life. You get to create your goals and health plan with me too!
I have walked this awkward mental health path, and hold hope for you in your brave journey towards healing. I look forward to supporting you as you gain relief from pain and discomfort, learn self-compassion, and learn tools to help you connect with yourself and others. You can do this! Are you looking for a group where you can just be you and not feel you have to pretend to be someone else? This is your group! You have carried your secrets, and your body is saying it can't hold anymore. Using our Telehealth space, together we will create a safe space where each member will be accepted and listened to. We will explore the various ways to heal our nervous systems, learn about our brains, and how to reconnect all the above to our souls to be present in our lives. $35 per group session.
