I believe everyone has the power to change but may not know how to do so. A person may think that just because they've been doing things "all their life" doesn't mean that it's for the rest of their life. I have over ten years experience helping kids,families and adults change behaviors/patterns that cause them problems in their lives. I treat depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction/alcoholism, divorce, relationship issues, panic, phobias, chronic pain, self esteem, bullying, ADHD, OCD, behavior problems, parenting issues, bipolar, anger issues, autism, aspbergers and personality disorders.
I have a Master's Degree from the University of Akron in Marriage and Family Therapy. I am an independently licensed professional counselor with supervisory designation, am a National Board Certified Counselor and have a Certification in Chemical Dependency. I am trained in EMDR level I and II.
I am non judgmental, open, and honest with my clients. I believe in helping to educate clients using various treatment modalities best suited for that individual person and their issue(s). I provide encouragement to clients while helping them gain awareness as well as recognize barriers to long term personal growth.
