Hello, I'm Michele, a Licensed Professional Counselor dedicated to providing a safe, supportive environment where your voice is heard and valued. I believe in creating a collaborative relationship with my clients to explore all of life’s messy emotions. I enjoy working with adults and adolescents (ages 15 and up) struggling with anxiety, depression, negative sense of self, empty nest syndrome, divorce, and relationship issues, just to name a few. My goal is to help individuals develop the skills and strategies necessary to lead fulfilling, meaningful lives. Now accepting new clients. Daytime availability on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based interventions, as well other interventions to help each client reach their goal. I will walk alongside you as we explore your thoughts, emotions and behaviors and how even small changes can make a big difference.

My therapy style utilizes a person centered approach, meaning the client often directs each session based on what is most important at the time. From there, I typically work from a CBT perspective, digging into a person's core beliefs, and modifying any beliefs that are harmful. When appropriate, we may incorporate a psychodynamic lens and explore your family history and its long-term impact.
