About
My approach is collaborative, holistic and growth-oriented. I believe it's important to build on people's strengths, successes and positive experiences; while acknowledging and addressing the influences of the past. I'm oriented to the development of a supportive, caring and honest relationship based on mutual respect, which will foster a therapeutic environment that allows individuals to achieve their personally established goals. I find it gratifying that through my guidance clients are able to identify and strengthen their motivation for change. This supports change in a manner congruent with the person's values and concerns and creates a foundation for sustaining these changes.
I am a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC) through the Michigan Certification Board of Addiction Professionals. I specialize in working with individuals who are experiencing significant life-changes, stress, low self-esteem, relationship issues, depression, anxiety, addiction and recovery.
Close to Michigan State University Campus. Practice office is 1 and a half miles North of the M.S.U. Union. I look forward to working with you to achieve your goals. Please call or email for an individual or couples therapy consultation today. Appointments available All day, evenings and Saturdays.
