The heart of my work as a therapist is helping clients transform their relationships with others and themselves into healthy, empowering, and meaningful ones. I've been in practice for over two decades, providing therapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups. My work is informed by research-based approaches, including anti-oppressive psychodynamic therapy, CBT, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Functional Analytic Psychotherapy (FAP), narrative therapy, attachment theory, and EMDR. I'm a Gottman educator in the Bringing Baby Home (BBH) program for expecting and new parents and The Seven Principles Program for couples.
I support clients with compassion, curiosity, and practical tools as they navigate challenges and foster lasting growth. My areas of focus include trauma and recovery, anxiety, relationship enhancement, transition to parenthood, parenting neurodivergent children and children with disabilities, mindfulness, emotion regulation, and distress tolerance.
My work is grounded in feminist, anti-oppressive, and culturally responsive perspectives, and I approach therapy with cultural humility. I welcome clients of all ethnicities, cultures, sexual orientations, gender identities, and neurotypes. I strive to create an affirming, respectful, and collaborative space for each person's unique experience.
