Nothing exists in totality. We each hold wisdom, joy, sadness, despair, anger, grief, hope, and infinitely other qualities — but we often don’t know how to access our own capacity, and end up feeling limited to certain roles, or divided as separate selves. I believe that it is through real connection and conversation that we open ourselves up to greater levels of understanding, healing, and capacity. Clients of mine desire increased wholeness, and find a safe space to explore what may feel sometimes like estranged identities; I draw from the wisdom of Internal Family Systems to help clients find a deeper sense of connectedness.
I have helped individuals navigating trauma, loss, relationship struggles, addiction, stress, anxiety, depression, and more. I value clients' individuality, and tailor my approach to a person's unique preferences, needs, and insights, always looking to create space, growth, and an increased sense of ease in being with ourselves.
I lead with compassion and endless curiosity for the beautiful tangle of intricacies innate to each person. I understand how difficult it can be to trust a new therapist with burdens you have carried yourself for years. I also understand how it feels to finally have help with those burdens; I consider it the greatest honor to provide that support for others.
