I work with survivors of complex trauma and trauma-related disorders and strive to meet clients where they are with compassion and authenticity. I believe in the importance of addressing both the cognitive and emotional aspects of the self as well as the influences of trauma and stress on the body. I specialize in collaborating with those seeking relief from family of origin issues, past abuse, relationship difficulty, depression, and experiences of low self-worth.
I utilize psychodynamic, trauma-informed, and attachment-based theories. I have provided therapy at an inpatient level at The Ross Institute for Trauma and am certified in Dr. Ross’s Trauma Model. I have worked within safe-house and private practice settings with those suffering from Complex PTSD, Dissociative Identity, and Borderline Personality disorders.
Suffering is exhausting—wearing an energy level you just don’t have, trying to trust, even just bearing with your thoughts and the ache in your chest. It is always an honor to sit with someone in those dark places and allow them space and safety. Those from all walks of life are welcome here.
