Hi there, I'm Michaela! I am here to help you navigate through life's difficulties with compassion and empathy. I want to meet you where you are in your journey and help you get to where you want to be. Struggling with negative thoughts, poor self-esteem, sadness and overwhelm? I hope to help you process these feelings and gain effective skills to manage these feelings and improve your life. I aim to offer a supportive space where you feel comfortable and heard. My space is a judgment-free zone and a place of calm and compassion.
Treatment planning is a collaborative experience where we, together, can come up with treatment goals that best suit you. I want to help you reach your treatment goals by setting realistic, manageable steps, and I will assist in any way to make these happen.
Our first session will be an opportunity for us to get to know each other, understand why you are coming to therapy, and what goals we can work on together. Building a trusting relationship is the most important part of this journey, and that starts on day 1. It's okay to feel nervous; we will take things at a pace you are comfortable with.
