Starting therapy can feel like a big step for both kids and their parents. If your child is struggling with big emotions, anxiety, frustration, behavior, friendships, or changes at home or school, you may find yourself wondering what they need and how you can best support them. I work with children ages 5–15 who are navigating anxiety, ADHD, emotional regulation, behavioral challenges, low self-esteem, social difficulties, and school challenges. Together, we focus on helping children understand their emotions, build coping skills, develop confidence, and feel more capable of handling life’s challenges.

My goal is to create a space where children feel safe, understood, and comfortable being themselves. Because they may not have the words to explain what they're feeling, I use play based therapy, sandtray therapy, CBT and mindfulness to work with the child to build emotional awareness, coping skills, flexibility, and confidence.

My approach is collaborative, and strengths-based. I believe therapy should feel approachable for children: not like another place where they are being told what they are doing wrong. I also believe parents are an important part of the process, so I provide caregiver support and practical strategies to help skills learned in therapy carry over into everyday.

Beyond the Filter: A Group for Middle School Girls (Ages 10–13) Middle school can be a lot for girls; comparison, social media pressure, shifting friendships, and big feelings they don’t always know how to name. Beyond the Filter is a supportive, age-appropriate group for girls (6th–8th grade) designed to help them: Build confidence - Strengthen self-esteem - Learn healthy, balanced social media habits - Practice kindness, courage, and emotional expression. Through creative activities, discussion, and calming practices, girls are given a safe space to be themselves, connect with peers, and grow.
