With over eighteen years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families, Michael has successfully helped many clients with complex issues that negatively impact their lives and their families in significant ways. He believes in treating clients holistically (mind, body, and spirit) and that the work clients do outside of therapy is as important as the work they do in session. The priorities are helping clients develop skills and providing resources that will support them to make lasting change.

Michael has unique experience working with clients on a variety of difficult issues: sexual abuse, traumatic experiences, and complex family dynamics. He also works with parents and families who feel frustrated, helpless, and hopeless. He knows what they need and can help them. Additionally, Michael is a Certified Investment Management Consultant.

Being bilingual and bicultural, Michael is able to provide therapy that is culturally sensitive and competent and is able to work with individuals, couples, and families where there may be language and cultural barriers between spouses, parents, and/or their children.
