In the more than 20 years that I have been a therapist, I have honed an eclectic-style of guiding therapy, using the skills that I have in the best interest of meeting the needs of my clients. I feel as though what sets me apart from other therapists is my drive to help clients deal with the things they struggle with. When I entered college, I initially wanted to be a psychiatrist, but I decided I didn't want to simply prescribe pills: I wanted to know people and to help them. So I chose psychology instead of psychiatry.
I approach therapy as a partnership in which we look at what your strengths and weaknesses are, what needs to be changed and what doesn't, so that you can become healthier and do better for yourself.
