I strive to be a therapist who is empathic and non-judgmental while utilizing insight to increase self-awareness. I have helped clients become more empathic towards themselves as well seeing their suffering decrease. Therapy can markedly improve the quality of relationships, work, and play. An important aspect of the process is looking at your feelings in the present moment or "here and now" with me. The therapeutic relationship helps heal and we can periodically analyze the relationship itself as well as the unconscious. I aim to create an environment where you feel safe to express yourself.
One of my specialties is sports psychology and helping athletes and poker players especially with performance. I apply these principles when indicated to other aspects of life such work performance in other fields as well as to poker players. Another specialty is addiction and I am currently working with first responders with addictions at a rehab center.

Groups
Process group
The focus of the group is interpersonal and in the here and now. This means the group members interactions with each other and the therapist are explored. The group often serves as a microcosm for one's relationship tendencies. The advantage of the group is that these tendencies can be understood, discussed, and the destructive ones can be improved.
