About
Since 2007, I have helped families who experience intense conflict around parenting, religious differences, relationship commitment, and sexual intimacy concerns. My clients ages range from 18 months old to 70+ years old. Whether you are an individual, couple, or family I always work from a systemic lens. This means I am always considering the context from which your struggles arise. Be prepared to include the entire context in the therapeutic process. For instance, for defiant children, I'm working with all active parents, and the school. And for couples, I'm ensuring both partners are heard and understood in therapy.
I have received extra training, experience, and supervision to work with couples, families, and young children. Particularly I am a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor, a certified Discernment Counselor, and have completed Level 2 of Gottman Method Couple Therapy. I also have extensive experience with Family Reunification Therapy.
I recognize that my typical clients experience a lot of hurt and pain in their lives. They often are not seen or appreciated. Within the structure and boundaries of therapy, you will be seen, heard, understood and valued. Working together I can provide the foundation for you to respect, honor, and validate yourself.
