I have gradually centered my work around people dealing with trauma, addiction, attachment struggles and OCD because I identify with the experience and have experienced healing myself. Complex trauma, attachment difficulties, addiction and OCD often cause chronic emotional disregulation. The attention grabbing power of the past or the future remove connection with the present and the people in it. Additionally, persistent negative beliefs about oneself, God or others make progress feel too hard or a fleeting and disappointing experience. Helping people find freedom and start living is the passion that fuels my work.
People are built to be self-healing and self-regulating. Much of the time all we have to do is keep a wound clean for it to heal. Therapy is a way of cleaning emotional wounds so that the natural healing ability of the mind can work. I use advanced techniques and equipment to increase the speed and depth of your healing and personal growth.
The therapeutic techniques I use include Emotional Transformation Therapy (ETT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Ego State Therapy, CBT and Revisioning. Additionally, I frequently use the Enneagram as a tool to increase self awareness and improve relationships in marital or couples therapy.
