About
You are probably here because something has happened in life that has lead you to seek out support or guidance from a professional. Life can get complicated and there is no handbook on how to handle things like depression, anxiety, addiction and relationship problems. It is important to know two things: you are not alone and there are always hidden lessons in the most difficult moments of our lives. I specialize in teaching skills to help individuals or families with teens manage stress and achieve balance in their life together.
My work is informed by primarily Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (M-CBT), family systems, motivational interviewing and collaborative brief therapy. I believe that our previous experiences can affect our current functioning but do not necessarily define who we are or become.
Whether you’ve been in therapy before, or this will be your first time; it is important to feel safe and comfortable enough to talk about things that are causing distress to yourself, or to your family. Allow me to join you on this journey of self-exploration, empowerment and change, as you begin creating new habits on your new wellness journey.
