In my years of working helpfully with others I have grown to the simple understanding that therapy is ultimately about increased self-awareness followed by purposeful change, the goal of which is greater personal happiness and effectiveness in living.
With a broad base of training and experience, I consider myself to be a generalist regarding issues which are often presented in treatment. While depression and anxiety are frequent areas of concern, I also have a particular interest in working with individuals with eating disorders, as well as couples with relational problems.
In various professional settings throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to address a very broad range of issues for which others have sought assistance. My personal style is respectful, egalitarian, relaxed and comfortable, with the confidentiality of the individual being of the utmost importance.
