Dr. Michael A. Travisano (or Dr. T. for short) is a Psychiatrist In Delaware who has been practicing since 2017. Dr. T graduated with a Doctor of Psychology degree (Psy.D.) from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL in 2021. Throughout his graduate training, he has done therapy and psychological testing with children, adolescents, and adults of various life experiences and treatment goals. Dr. T helps individuals across the lifespan with a variety of mental health concerns, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, anger issues, general life stressors, and stage of life issues.
He specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which examines how one’s thoughts and behaviors impact their mood, symptoms, stress level, and general functioning. Dr. T utilizes a variety of CBT-based coping skills to help his clients break these patterns and achieve their individualized therapeutic goals. In his free time, Dr.
T enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, and four cats. He enjoys hiking, kayaking, movies, musical theatre, story-driven video games, and comic books. In general, he loves stories in all forms and formats, and he deeply appreciates the artistic creativity and self-expression that goes into creating a storytelling experience.
