In over thirty years of practice I have come to appreciate the unique individuality of each person. I therefore work to get each individual to actively participate in setting goals and making the process beneficial . I served as a consultant to The Fertility Center of Northern New Jersey, the Jewish Home at Rockleigh, and the Terrence Cardinal Cooke Healthcare Facility, and am a clinical supervisor at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy. I have written and presented on psychotherapy across cultures and am actively involved in organizing international conferences on various psychological topics.
Trained at the New York University Postdoctoral Program my approach is psychodynamic and interpersonal. My emphasis is on patterns of behavior and relationships, how they developed, and what keeps them going even when they are ineffective. This makes the work a collaborative effort to make life better.
My exposure to a wide range of influences allows me to be flexible and to work on individual approaches to the problems presented. No two people are the same, and therefore no two people need be treated the same.
