About
Connection is the basis of healing. My style in therapy focuses on creating a non-judgmental and genuine environment by implementing support and encouragement throughout the therapeutic process. Through this, trust begins to be built and the work can begin. I want to help you in developing a compassionate view and more secure sense of self. I am experienced with working with individuals who are experiencing mental health challenges and trauma. I work with individuals from adolescence to adulthood.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Clinician in the state of Iowa. I went to Adler University for my masters with a specialty in Forensic Psychology. I previously worked in Chicago, IL as a counselor in medication assisted treatment (MAT). I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) I utilize this technique to process trauma.
I believe it is an honor to be in the presence of all my clients who are willing to explore some of the most intimate aspects of life. My drive is to create a safe space for my clients to begin the healing journey. I look forward to watching you grow and explore your true potential.
