I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 26 years of experience providing treatment to children, families, and adults struggling with issues related to mental health and substance abuse. In my therapy practice I provide a safe and supportive environment for people to talk about their troubles and help them develop solutions that will work for their individual situation. I strongly believe that a therapist’s primary role is to work in partnership with their client, to empower their client to achieve the goals they have identified.
I have training in evidence-based techniques to help people with depression, anxiety, and traumatic experiences. I have extensive experience working with children and adolescents who are experiencing school, legal, and behavioral problems. I specialize in the treatment of people who have been the victims of and/or have engaged in physical or sexual abuse.
