I have been a licensed psychologist in clinical practice for over 30 years in a variety of settings, most recently in private practice. I meet mostly with adults; individually, as couples for marital or relationship work, and with families, and some adolescents. I am especially interested in the treatment of chronic pain disorders, anxiety, anger and stress management issues, and assessment and treatment of sexual dysfunctions and disorders.
My orientation toward treatment is fairly eclectic, utilizing group, conjoint, and individual approaches involving the use of examining thought processes, managing stress and pain through various techniques (including biofeedback training), and enhancing communication and decision-making in families and couples.
I believe my personal and professional experience helps individuals or families to set the wheels in motion toward enhancing their abilities to create a more productive, meaningful, and enjoyable life for themselves.
