Hello! I'm Alec Ramsey, a licensed marriage and family therapist with seven years of clinical experience. I specialize in treating addiction, ADHD, trauma and PTSD, mood disorders, and grief. I use a blend of EMDR, Attachment-based, Dialectical (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), and Mindfulness-Based (MBCT) modalities. When working with couples, I use the emotionally focused therapy framework to help partners communicate deeper and more effectively. My goal is to support you in overcoming what may feel unmanageable, unpredictable, and uncontrollable.

I am not keen on homework and instead try to remain flexible to circumstances. I know the struggles of ADHD myself, so I utilize notes, scheduling and planning, and clear communication to stay on track.
