Learning to trust in this relationship can hold the keys to unlocking one’s ability to develop healthy relationships, a more enjoyable life, and a whole self. It is a rich place were otherwise hidden patterns and habits can be discovered and changed.
My background is based in Gestalt and Existential theory. I believe therapy is a relational way for one to explore why they may be feeling or thinking a certain way in order to help them learn more about themselves and make the positive life changes they choose. I believe that therapy is collaborative and relational and needs to be safe, secure, and patient.
