My work and experience have allowed me to aid individuals in many age brackets. I am able to be adaptable to meet the needs of the individuals in front of me. While I specialize in treating Anxiety, Depression, Mood Disorders and traumas, I have the capacity to assist with a range of issues and problems people may present with. I am working on national certification in EMDR and work to use this approach to help others suffering from traumatic experiences to move forward. I want to be able to understand my clients to build trust and connection. Much of the beginning sessions are spent building this through clear expectations.
I utilize in therapy both EMDR and CBT in treatment with my clients. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy is useful for working through past traumatic or painful experiences through connecting with the body. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy works to challenge thought patterns and consider alternative ways of thinking to reduce suffering.
I prioritize creating a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship, where clients of all ages feel comfortable expressing themselves. Whether you’re a young adult navigating new life challenges or an older individual seeking support for past trauma, I offer the same level of care, understanding, and validation.
