I have a strong family therapy and human development background with have 19 years' experience doing Individual, Family & Couples therapy. I have considerable experience and competence working with Children, Adolescence and Adults. I collaborate well with school systems, DCYF, Probation and Truancy Court.
As an Adjunct Professor for the University of Rhode Island for the past 18 years, I've taught a variety of courses; adolescent development, family therapy, intro to counseling and others. This allows me to keep updated on both theory and practice.
I specialize in:
Individual Therapy- (children, adolescents, and adults) depression, anxiety, self-esteem, anger management and grief.
Family Therapy- conflict resolution, behavior management, family restructuring and parenting support.
Marriage & Couples Therapy- conflict, communication, infidelity and strengthening relationships.
