I am a Massachusetts-licensed Psychologist Provider with nearly 40 years of clinical experience. My clinical approach is individual, couples and family psychotherapy (in contrast to other expertise such as psychological testing, DBT, CBT, etc.). I see individual adults to provide support and understanding of current challenges and symptoms including anxiety, depression, work or school issues, loss and relationship challenges. I also see couples and families referred by other clinicians. We will evaluate whether substance misuse (your own or that of a loved one) plays a role in your symptoms or distress.
I work to help people understand their current challenges or symptoms in the context of their life history and current circumstances. While this work can be intense and serious I also appreciate the importance of the larger human condition/context including work, humor, the arts, community life, etc. as sustaining resources.
I offer a complimentary 15 minute telehealth meeting for prospective patients. Note that while I do not accept insurance I can provide you with a record of your payments and other forms to turn in for insurance reimbursement if requested. If we decide to work together I will direct you to an on-line HIPAA secure portal to complete some administrative forms.
