Getting counseling can be one of the most empowering decisions a person can make! As one of the few doctoral level marriage and family therapists in the area, I bring a unique expertise to the counseling experience drawing on almost 30 years of working with individuals, couples, and families.
I have received comprehensive training and specialize in working with individuals and all forms of relationships. I am skilled with the most severe of life’s problems such as infidelity, domestic violence, sexual dysfunction, religious differences/faith crisis and transitions, trauma, depression, anxiety, and OCD.
Lastly, I am active in the therapeutic community by teaching and mentoring clinicians-in-training, presenting at local and national conferences and I’m a published author, authoring or co-authoring articles in the areas of sex therapy, postmodern therapies/research, and how technology is used in therapeutic settings.
