I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years experience working with adults and adolescents. My way of working with others is eclectic and also grounded in both a cognitive behavioral approach and a biopsychosocial approach in working with people. I focus on the here and now and view the person in the context of the individual, their experiences, their interactions, as well as their psychological and physical health. I enjoy helping people with challenges or difficulties they may face and I consider it an honor to be entrusted with this help.
I have specific experience working within the Child Welfare System, in substance abuse and recovery, and knowledge about community resources. This includes working with adults and adolescents dealing with traumatic experiences, emotional disturbance, or chronic mental health issues.
Additionally, I work with people dealing with the impacts of physical illness, cancer in particular, or physical injury.
