New Openings in My Group! Check it out. I work primarily with individual adults, couples and groups. I am committed to my own personal and professional growth - as I am to yours - and continue to educate myself about people and their relationship with self and others. Psychotherapy is a profession that invites life-long learning, and I have had years of post-masters training in psychodynamic psychotherapy, transactional analysis, redecision therapy and experiential methods (psychodrama, family sculpting, sociometry). My areas of expertise are mood disorders, addictions and relationships.
When you come to see me as a client, I start with you in the here and now. I seek to learn the reasons that bring you to therapy. I am also interested in how early family experiences influence you today. My approach is called psychodynamic.
Prior to gaining my education and credentials as a psychotherapist, I produced and directed professional theatre in Washington, DC. I have a true appreciation for the artist and other creative people.

This group has a maximum of eight participants, men and women. Participants will already have had some individual therapy and are ready for the dynamic experience of group. The group's focus is not on one particular issue, but is about one's life and relationships - including relationship with self. I am a current Clinical Member of the American Group Psychotherapy Association and am a Certified Group Psychotherapist.
