I work with individuals and couples in a safe, supportive and non-judgmental environment. My clients are looking to overcome challenges, find solutions, meaning, direction, healing, balance, and clarity in their personal and professional lives. My expertise includes grief and loss, effective communication, childhood and adult trauma, coping skills, spirituality, finding meaning, church/spiritual abuse, abandonment, anger, life transitions, men’s issues, self-esteem, veterans, and AL-Anon/ACoA. My extensive background in corporate and executive settings enables me to work well with clients facing work challenges.
I use a mindfulness based integrative approach, drawing from models that have proven effectiveness when working with individuals and couples to bring about the changes that they are looking for. I also collaborate with outside specialists. As a musician and am able to integrate this in my approaches with those who find connection through music.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) with the State of Connecticut. I received my degree from the Department of Counselor Education and Family Therapy at Connecticut State University (CCSU), specializing in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am also a National Certified Counselor (NCC).
